Accept payments directly in Zoho Books via bank transfers, cards, or USSD using Monnify's secure gateway. Automate invoice reconciliation and reduce manual payment tracking.
This integration requires your Monnify Business Code, API Key, and Contract Code to authenticate transactions. Follow this guide to install the Monnify plugin, configure credentials, and enable payments in Zoho Books.
Prerequisites
- Zoho Books account with admin access.
- Active Monnify merchant account (sign up at app.monnify.com/create-account).
- Your Monnify credentials: Business Code (unique to your account), API Key (from Developer Dashboard), Contract Code (from Developer Dashboard).
Step 1: Install the Plugin
- Go to Zoho Marketplace (marketplace.zoho.com) and search for "Monnify for Zoho Books".
- Click "Install Now" and select your Zoho Books organization.
- Grant the required permissions: access to invoices, ability to add payment buttons, read/write payment records.
Step 2: Configure Monnify Credentials
- In Zoho Books, go to Settings → Online Payments → Payment Gateways.
- Find Monnify and click "Setup Now".
- Enter your Monnify credentials: Business Code, API Key, and Contract Code.
- Save the configuration.
Step 3: Test with a Live Transaction
- Create a test invoice for ₦100 (minimum amount ₦20).
- Complete payment using any method.
- Verify in both: Zoho Books → Sales → Invoices, and Monnify Dashboard → Transactions.
